The United Nations of Yata is an intergovernment organization on Yata which acts as a forum for maintaining peace, security and international cooperation between the various nations present on Yata. The United Nations was originally formed as a forum for the nations of Yata to hold international conferences and promote peace, although nowadays it also acts as a method of representing the interests of the Planet on the interplanetary stage, especially since the UNY's admission as a member state within the Yatan-Theian Accord in 334.
Across the history of the United Nations several headquarters have been used. The original headquarters were in Linasburg however were destroyed in the Empire Wars. The second was built in Perezatski (Then Vanino) in Lineland. The third was built in Tritoniyagrad. The fourth and current Headquarters is located in Mylonagrad, near the city center.
United Nations Security Council[]
The UN Security Council is a internal organ of the UN responsible for ensuring international peace and security, as well as establishing peacekeeping operations. enacting sanctions, and authorizing military action. It is also the only body within the UN with the authority to pass legally binding resolutions on member states.
The UN Security Council is composed of 21 member states, of which 7 are permanent members. The other 14 members are elected on a regional basis every 2 years.

United Nations Peacekeeping Forces[]
The UN has its own armed forces, named the UN Peacekeeping Forces, which aid nations torn by conflict in finding long-term peace. Other than just peacekeeping, the UNPF manages all other military efforts run by the UN, including its small space fleet, which is mainly used for planetary defence and exploration.
History of UN Interventions[]
- The UN sent a taskforce to investigate Red City a few times.
- The UN sent some assistance to Lineland during the Yetian War of Independance
- After Lineland fell to Luxuria they transferred their occupied territories in canada to Lineland.
- The UN observed luxuria after World War 3 to make sure nothing went wrong.
- During the Spinese invasion of Celtic lineland organised a UN Taskforce with 20k soldiers.
- During the outbreak of Hansen's Disease the UN managed to push back the zombies as it organised all of humanity under a united military
- The UN Sanctioned Abard and Creepyland for kidnapping Yetians
- They tried to make Theia join the UN but it failed miserably leading to the founding of the League of Theians.
- The UN tried to fight against the YNF during its invasion of Yata but failed at this.
- The UN embargoed Vedaburg for genocide and crimes against humanity.
